I am running for State Representative because I believe that I can continue to help Pennsylvania move forward and have. I want our state to be a place where our children have the opportunity to find well-paying jobs, buy a decent home and be able to educate and raise their families. I have successfully fought for Pennsylvania and our area to create jobs and a business climate where companies are able to hire new employees and thrive. As your State Representative, I want to continue to work with businesses and not against them by fighting to keep taxes and regulations low.
As a former Assistant District Attorney and private practicing attorney in Mercer County and a partner with Bartholomew, Mudrinich & Nesbit law firm, I have represented the government, individuals and businesses in state and federal courts throughout Western Pennsylvania. The government does not create jobs – businesses create jobs and government needs to stay out of the way so that they can flourish. We need to fully fund education but do so in new and innovative ways. We need to ensure that business and industry has trained employees to compete in the global economy. I will continue the fight against unnecessary government growth.
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and was raised with the traditional values of the area. I moved back home and chose to raise my children here. I want them to have the opportunity to make the same choice. I understand how important it is that we move the economy forward so that the next generation does not have to move away to find a good job. I am pro-life and support the second amendment rights of gun owners. I want to continue to fight for and represent those interests and continue to protect the values of our 8th District in Harrisburg.
Thank you for your support.
Tedd C. Nesbit
Representative, PA House District 8
